Year 11 Boys Regional Table Tennis

A big congratulations to the five Year 11s who represented Sirius College in the Senior Northern Metropolitan Regional Table Tennis Tournament on Thursday the 2nd of August. The team competed strongly finishing third in the entire region.

The boys narrowly lost to their first competitor with both sides winning 3 rubbers each, unfortunately when the result was decided by overall points we just fell short of Lalor College. We went on to win our second round match in another tight battle with Macleod College. This left us second in our pool, just missing out on the final.

The boys represented the college with great sportsmanship and competitive spirit. A tremendous effort. The endeavour shown by the team was strongly influenced by our courageous and fearless captain, Ali Alzihari, who battled through his matches all day.
